  1. A functional PING/status app.

This app is pretty useful. Runs in the background, seems to work consistently with IP's and hostnames. You can choose the port to monitor, which is useful for specific applications. I would like to see toast notifications implemented for monitored hosts that go offline. Right now, there is only a visual indication that something is wrong on a live tile.

    1. Hi Сергей,
For now there is not possible to use ICMP on windows 8 apps. Let's hope that in 8.1 update Microsoft will enable this protocol to windows store apps.

  4. Bug: Saved Groups Gone

This is more than simple PING, as it allows probing of other ports. I thought this is really useful as I could create live tiles and monitor multiple servers' services. So I created multiple groups and put them as Tiles. It worked fine for a while, then the groups just disappeared: the tiles are still there, but they became empty, all the group names are also gone.

    1. Hi DAseNTchEn

For now there is no automatic way to export data. But you can always copy your data to another PC manually. All User files usually are in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Packages\28713Simset.Pingtile_ctszfjktpr83j\LocalState folder. Just copy all files from that folder to other pc's or user's appropriate folder.

    1. Hi,
Can you specify more details for your issue? Is it crashing, hanging and when this happening. What windows version(pro, home, enterprise), device(tablet,pc, laptop) you are using.
Let me try to help you.
This app was tested on window 10 pro and home versions. It should work on those versions. If you are using the app since win8.1 you can try to reinstall it.
Also check if your pc has network connection, the app wouldn't work if there is no cable or wifi connected.

  11. Very convoluted user interface. Not user-friendly to operate or manage. Configuration is nightmare-ish.

    2. Hi,
You need to create Groups and Servers items first. Then in window 'Select servers and date range' you will be able to choose those items.
